Congratulations to the Hove Lions, organisers of the annual carnival in Hove Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
Even though there were a few showers it did not dampen the spirits of the 10,000 people who I understand attended.
It was a resounding success.
The stallholders worked hard and the money raised will be distributed to various charities.
I look forward to the centenary fun day the Lions are organising, also in Hove Park, for July 23.
