I live in British Columbia, Canada, with my husband, Bill. A few weeks ago, my husband came to Brighton to be with his mum, who had suffered a stroke and was in the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Sadly, his mum passed away but, during the two-week period she was ill, my husband, who has a serious heart problem, also became ill and was admitted to the hospital himself, once while he was visiting his mum and, the second time, on the day of her funeral.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the doctors and nurses, who were absolutely wonderful.
I am positive he would not have received better care anywhere else in the world.
We are both very grateful. I would also like to say thank you for all the cups of tea and kindness I received. Only in England...
