I beg to disagree with Virginia McKenna (Letters, May 22). Seals and otters housed at Brighton Sea Life Centre will be fed and well cared for, have expert veterinary treatment and there will be plenty of room for them to move around.
It will be much safer than today's environment outside and people will get a great deal of pleasure from watching them.
I respect her concern for these lovely, intelligent creatures and the wonderful work she does for wildlife but she must remember it is not safe out there any more.
