A businessman has been appointed to drive forward major economic projects in East Sussex.
Councillor Simon Radford-Kitty, 41, has been given a portfolio responsibile for new development projects for East Sussex County Council.
The Conservative member, who represents Pevensey and Westham, will represent the county council on partnerships, including the Eastbourne, Polegate and Hailsham Triangle; the Newhaven Strategic Network; and the Central Rail Corridor Board.
