Brighton's most infamous drag queen rides into town once again.
She's putting on an extra special "sharing" show in which she relives the great gemstone studded moments of her life with sparkling show biz stories and saucy songs from her extensive back catalogue and a new album of strong women survivor's anthems - I Didn't Know I Had It In Me.
This affectionate and popular parody of a trashy country diva is the comic creation of Olivier award-winning character actor Christopher Green. According to comedy guide Chortle, Green was recently accused of blasphemy by Christian audience members who stormed out of the show in Cape Town, in protest.
As well as the walk-outs, the venue, called On Broadway, has reportedly been sent a barrage of angry emails. On Broadway owner Russell Shapiro said: "Lots of people do not understand it is satire and walk out. They are not appreciating the humour behind the blasphemy. I think the show is absolutely brilliant."
You can expect then, an evening of outrageous comedy and toe-tapping songs hollered at full force - not for the faint hearted.
Starts 7pm. Tickets cost £12. Call 01273 647100.
