Shoreham Port Open Day was a fantastic day out. My son Nicholas (aged 8) enjoyed exploring the lifeboat and a trip around the harbour.

Despite horrible weather the turnout was fantastic. Well done to everyone involved in what can only be described as a roaring success.

Everyone involved seemed to be engaged in what they were doing, from the car park attendant to the stallholders.

It was a memorable day and one which I'm sure many other people will remember for a long time to come.

I will be going again next year.
