Protect Our Woodland would like to thank everyone who signed our petition and gave so generously at our table in Montague Precinct, Worthing, last Saturday in support of the campaign to save the ancient Titnore Lane area.
The fantastic support we are getting just shows how important the area is to everyone.
Last Saturday, it was at the table, on May 4 it was the stay-at-home campaign's 22 per cent turnout at the local election and, since we started our campaign in 2002, it's the thousands who have signed our petitions, written letters, visited our website and receive our updates.
Our message to Worthing Borough Council is it should catch up with the community, which is light years ahead in its concern for the environment.
The council should be setting the example to the next generation, not the other way around.
