Big Brother contestant Pete Stephenson is on the show to become a flag-bearer for Tourette's syndrome sufferers, said his manager.
Madame Pussycat, who runs Pete's Brighton-based rock band Daddy Fantastic, said: "Pete wants to be a spokesperson and inspiration for people with Tourette's."
The neurological condition makes Pete, 24, blurt out swear words involuntarily. He also suffers from a tic.
Madame Pussycat added: "He wants to be able to stand up and say 'I'm the lead singer in a rock band you can do it too'.
"Pete's a smart guy. He's destined to be famous."
