It's another Tru Thoughts and Zebra Traffic party tomorrow, as our Brighton buddies show off more of their finest acts.
Expect jazz, breaks, hip-hop, drum'n'bass, soul, funk and broken beats.
Soul songstress Alice Russell, in demand all over the shop from dance festivals to jazz clubs, will perform a live acoustic set. She'll be going behind the decks, too, to play some records of her own and will be joined by her comrade, DJ and producer TM Juke.
There's also going to be a live hip-hop set from Simpson, featuring Rup. South London's Rup is not your run-of-the-mill UK rapper.
Having dropped only a handful of releases (most recently King Cnut EP on Hear Today Records and the Timequake 7in on 27 Beats) he has now inked a deal with Zebra Traffic and releases his debut album Rup On Zebra later this year.
Appetites have been whetted this week with the release of The Dugout EP, which contains the track Focus his collaboration with Simpson.
His style is tricky to pin down, varying wildly from a strong fixation with the outdoors (check his Wilderness Kids collaboration with TM Juke) to tales of his life in south London. His aim is to appeal equally to both traditional hip-hop fans (see extended plays on BBC Radio 1xtra) and also those who prefer their music a little more leftfield (gaining him growing fan base from the Tru Thoughts crowd).
After landing a work experience position with Tru Thoughts in 2002, Simpson linked up with Robert Luis and hip-hop off-shoot Zebra Traffic was born. Simpson takes care of the day to day running of the label, does A&R, is a resident at Step Up and presents the weekly Dugout hip-hop show on Juice 107.2.
10pm-4am, tickets £7 amd £8
