Camilla Parker-Bowles will visit a landmark arts centre which has undergone an £8 million revamp.
The Duchess of Cornwall will be given a tour of the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, on May 26.
She will lay a commemorative plaque in the foundations of the pavilions new education studio, scheduled for completion later this year.
The studio marks the final phase of the refurbishment of the Grade-I listed Modernist icon.
Alan Haydon, director of the De La Warr Pavilion, said: "The visit by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall is a great honour for us all and, as part of our 70th anniversary celebrations, it will add to the pavilions rich and diverse history.
"In addition, the visit will give a tremendous boost towards the completion of the new education studio later this year and we are proud that Her Royal Highness can mark her visit in this way."
The Duchess of Cornwall will arrive at 10.30am and will be met by Dr Richard Sykes, chairman of the De La Warr Pavilion Trust, before she is presented to the Earl and Countess De La Warr and Jill Theis, founder of the original pavilion trust.
