The Undercliff path has always suffered intermittent rock falls and will continue to do so but this has never closed the path before and, to my knowledge, no one has ever been struck, killed or maimed by falling rocks.
If Brighton and Hove City Council is worried about walkers being hit by a stray flint, why did it misplace only part of the safety fence? And why won't the council respond to this simple question.
The only parties with any interest in keeping this section closed are Asda and the council, it seems.
