Please stop worrying, Mr Barnes. The Woodingdean rooks have not gone missing. They have just moved house (Letters, May 11).
They are very comfortable and enjoy keeping us awake here at Ravensbourne Court in Warren Way.
All eleven nests can be found in the trees at the back and front of the building. They have joined the large family of seagulls who torment us all year round.
You are quite welcome to visit the rooks, Mr Barnes, and maybe try to persuade them to move back to their ancestral home.
-Linda Maslin, Woodingdean
