I would like to thank Ragroof Theatre for the excellent tea dance they held at the Spiegeltent on Sunday.
We went along with a group of friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a complete range of ages and abilities but everyone mixed together and the free dance classes were a great idea.
As well as welcoming people, introducing the songs and serving tea and cakes, the girls and guys of Ragroof Theatre also performed a lively Charleston routine halfway through the afternoon.
I'm sure everyone who was there would agree it was a lovely afternoon and it's a shame tea dances are not the norm for young people any more.
Because the event was so popular and sold out well before the day, another is planned for Friday May 26. Tickets are available from Komedia and the festival line on 01273 709709. I'm sure it will be a sell-out again.
