I believe there were factual inaccuracies in Xenia Gregoriadiss article on The Sussex Ox (The Argus, March 10).
Basically, the review said: During the past 18 months, owners David and Suzanne Pritchard have transformed The Sussex Ox first built around 1900 from a tired, childrens pub with bog-standard freezer-to-fryer pub grub.
But there are still articles on the web about the pub under its previous owner, Ronnie Waight, who said: Most of our food comes from local suppliers sausages from East Dean, dressed crabs and lobster from Hastings and even local English wine.
I was annoyed with the review, as this used to be one of the best children-friendly pubs around, serving really good, reasonably-priced food.
