In response to A Fischman (Letters, April 27), it amazes me such people get offended about someone wearing the Nazi uniform in a newspaper or theatre production in 2006.
The Second World War ended more than 60 years ago and it is a fact it existed.
We don't need to brush it under the carpet.
We see actors wearing these uniforms in many war films and they are on display in museums as well. I don't understand why people get so upset about this when it is absolutely fine to dress as a Viking or a Roman and print their pictures in a magazine or newspaper.
Let's not forget they came to Britain, took us as slaves, raped, pillaged and caused mayhem.
No one seems bothered by them.
