With a following more cultish than a room full of Hollywood Scientologists, Sheffield's Reverend and The Makers are tipped for the top.
Like their hometown friends The Arctic Monkeys, who they've just toured with, the relatively new band are said to be destined for great things. Headed up by frontman/ holyman Jon 'Reverend' McClure (whose brother is the bloke on the Arctic Monkeys album cover) the band have been described by one critic as a blend of "fuzzy electronica, sharp guitars and lazy, jazz-like brass rustled together with a hint of dub".
Starts 10pm, tickets cost £6. Call Rounder, Brighton 01273 325440 or Resident, Brighton 01273 606312.
