We have all heard more than enough about Hove lately. It is vital to take a wider view.
During a recent morning's walk around North Moulescoomb, I was struck by the desire for the area to be planted with trees.
What a difference these would make. They lift the spirit.
This is in stark contrast with the University of Sussex grounds.
How easily such planting could have been done with the EB4U loot and yet the matter was never addressed.
Instead, so much of that funding was used on trumpery, here-today, gone-tomorrow items rather than the lasting joy of trees.
