There's a great deal of fun to be had on Planet Frottage 3 in Saucy Jack's Cabaret Bar if you are into Seventies disco music and shows in the mould of Rocky Horror.
For this spoof musical has it all - transvestites, fetishes, a serial killer and even good old-fashioned love in all its gender permutations.
Jack's cabaret stars keep getting killed, the murder weapon being a sequined stiletto heeled shoe. Cue the arrival of the Space Vixens (above), a glamorous galactic police force, in pursuit of the killer. Any resemblance to Charlie's Angels is purely intentional.
There have been previous versions of this show which have failed to make it in the West End. As this production shows, it is more suited to an intimate venue where there can be interaction with the audience.
Led by Andy Durham as the sinister Saucy Jack, the enthusiastic and talented cast provide a lively evening. The strength of the show lies in its musical numbers and the energy which they create rather than a script reliant on jokes which need to be stronger.
