It's going to be the usual musical meltingpot of electro, punk, techno and disco at tonight's Chaos Rocks.
Headlining is the supremely talented Boys Noize, aka Alex Ridha. Alex began DJing as Kid Alex at the age of 16 in Germany's best clubs, where his wild experimental mixes of electro, techno, rock and disco quickly found a strong following.
He soon discovered a love for programming and producing and his first record was released when he was 17. In 2003, Alex produced electro-tech tracks under the name Boys Noize and was signed to International Gigolo Records.
The second Boys Noize single came out on Datapunk Records and he's gone on to remix for the likes of Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, The Living Things, Tiga, The Kreeps and more. The recently-launched Boys Noize record label is currently supported by such talent as Ivan Smagghe, Ata, Trevor Jackson, Sven Vath, Erol Alkan and 2manyDjs.
Performing live on the night will be Spektrum, a four-piece band who have been ripping up the London and European party circuit for six years.
They've already got debut album Enter The Spektrum under their post-punk-funk belt, as well as singles Breaker, Freakbox, Kinda New, May Day and new release Horny Pony, which is currently being re-pressed due to huge demand.
