I've been reading about the assorted building projects proposed for the city centre with some of interest.
It does seem as if every week yet another group of architects come up with an even more eye-catching idea than whatever the previous idea was.
Considering whatever is eventually built will become a landmark on a par with the Pavilion and might reasonably be expected to outlive that charming edifice, I, for one, am not anticipating any quick decisions as to what does get built.
The new library and its surroundings are a credit to the city and any large-scale seafront development is almost certainly going to take on a similar character.
I am looking forward to viewing the final decision on whatever type of buildings are eventually selected just as soon as the architects have finished lunching each other.
