As a regular visitor to the Brighton Easter Parade, I look forward to meeting the daffodil man along the coast road by the pier.
For the past ten years or so, dressed in a straw boater, blazer and silver-tip walking cane, he would hand out daffodils to passing ladies.
He always had a big smile and was ready to chat. When I asked his name he would reply, "I am who ever you would like me to be".
This year, sadly, he was not to be seen and I was not the only person to remark. Can any of your readers identify him - The Mystery Daffodil Man of Brighton?
