The supportive stance of the family of the dog breeder, who abused so many innocent animals, made for unappetising reading (The Argus, April 20).
I wonder why the family didn't question why they were not allowed into the outhouse behind the cottage?
Whatever the past history of this 73-year-old-woman, her actions were quite appalling and I suspect she would have been prosecuted had she lived.
Or would she, with our present out-dated animal protection laws? The sooner this new Act is rushed through Parliament the better.
How many more animals are there out there, hidden away from public eyes by people such as this woman?
As for the family's defence of Elizabeth Stevens, well, they would say that, wouldn't they?
