Referring to an article in The Argus (April 10) about myself and the reception of my television, I would like to emphasize that the reason I contacted The Argus in the first place was to enlist its help in ascertaining whether any other persons in Brighton, and the North Laine in particular, was having trouble with their reception of BBC2.
I had already contacted both Orbit Housing and Denne Construction, and they had assured me they were not at fault.
I thought that, if it was a more universal problem, I would need to get more information.
My reception of BBC2 varies between average and absolutely dreadful, with flashing lines across the screen and sometimes no picture at all for a second or two.
It doesn't seem to happen at any special time or day, and has been going on now for about three or four months. When I have talked to people about it, each has thought their TV was at fault.
I would be very glad to know if anyone else is having this problem or whether it is just confined to Cheltenham Place.
Can someone please tell me how I can contact the Office of Communications, so I can give them the whole picture.
I gratefully look forward to hearing from you.
-Bobbie Osterley, Brighton
