Hopefully Brighton and Hove City Council will finally accept it is not worth wasting any more money on Gehry's proposed decimation of the seafront.
It is obvious the scheme is already economically unviable and would continue to run way over budget.
Instead of ferrying officials to and from the US, planning staff should spend the day at Crawley to find out how the K2 sports centre was financed and built.
Surely is is possible to provide sports facilities without having to sell off and ruin the seafront environment?
