I used to live in Manchester before moving to the healthier (irony) climes of Brighton. Air pollution there was bad but, believe me, it was not as bad as the Vogue Gyratory.
Imagine this pollution intensified if Veolia has its way and builds the WTF at Hollingdean Lane. Even Veolia admits there will be a 0.5 per cent increase in noise and air quality pollution at the Vogue Gyratory.
Isn't this contary to Brighton and Hove City Council's priorities of reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality in the city?
