If it comes to standpipes in the streets due to the water shortage, can we expect a reduction in our water bills due to the fact Southern Water has failed in its side of our contract, ie to maintain a service to our taps?
And how are the infirm and elderly to cope if we do have standpipes? It is to be hoped deep thought has been given to the matter.
