House prices are continuing to grow marginally across Sussex.
This month property values increased 0.6 per cent in East Sussex, 0.5 per cent in West Sussex and 1.2 per cent in Brighton and Hove, according to the latest survey by housing research and data company Hometrack.
It says the average price of a semi-detached home is £167,900 in East Sussex, £187,700 in West Sussex and £181,000 in Brighton and Hove.
Nationally the average increase is 0.5 per cent, which Hometrack says is the highest monthly leap since summer 2004.
Director of research Richard Donnell said demand in the housing market was still rising faster than supply, which was bolstering price levels.
