A dilapidated park transformed into a fantasy world for children is opening its gates.
The rejuvenated Brooklands Park in Worthing is the first Diddlyland in the world.
Children can ride around the lake on the miniature Diddly train, take a trip on the restored boats and have fun in the ball pool inside the refurbished play barn.
Tots can also release their energy on a trike track and bouncy castle.
The gates open on Friday after having been closed for two-and-a-half years.
Kevin McCluskey, who was given the lease for the park by Worthing Council earlier this month, has spent £30,000 restoring the existing features and making his concept of Diddlyland into a reality.
He plans to invest a further £500,000 to create a "high quality" theme park specifically for younger children.
