Genesis Brighton Bears have been told they have probably set another record.
Bears are believed to be the first British League team to win a game after conceding 72 points or more in the first half.
Phil Waghorn's men were 72-58 adrift after 20 minutes at Milton Keynes Lions on Sunday.
They fought back to be level at 104-104 after 40 minutes and win 124-122 in double overtime.
Although plenty of teams have scored more than 124 to win a game, only Derby have hit more than 122 in defeat.
They lost 136-134 to Leicester in triple overtime and 145-144 to Thames Valley after four added periods, both in the 1997-98 season.
Dan Routledge, TV commentator and formerly press officer at the BBL, said: "I can't remember 72 points in a half.
"It has got to be unheard of, especially for the team who conceded 72 to still win the game."
Andy Webb, of the BBL, said: "It's probably a record. I don't think anybody would dispute it."
League stats wizards Roger Yapp and John Atkinson were unable to confirm whether or not the game broke any records.
Lions made 28 of their 41 first-half shots, including nine of 15 three-pointers.
But they missed a couple of open threes and five of their 12 free thows.
Bears made 19 of their 31 first-half shots, including six of ten threes.
Lions are the second-lowest scoring team in the league, averaging 78 points per game.
Bears coach Waghorn said: "Our comeback showed the character in the team. I always thought if we could stay within about ten Milton Keynes could not keep shooting like that."
Earlier this season, Bears beat Leicester in the first topflight game to ever require five periods of overtime.
