I see those gimmicky, inventive and offbeat instrumentalists Stomp are performing once again at the Dome Concert Hall during the forthcoming Brighton Festival.

While wishing them success with their new Lost and Found Orchestra, would it be asking too much of them to temporarily cast aside their dustbin lids and broomsticks and divert some of their ingenuity and creative talents to restoring the Astoria Cinema building, which they purchased in 2001, to some degree of acceptability?

Perhaps they could dismantle the ugly scaffolding which has blighted Gloucester Place for so long and utilise some of it musically in their new Lost and Found Orchestra.
