GolfPunk, the irreverent golf magazine famed for its bunker babes and interviews with celebs, hits German news stands next month.

Publishers Kyn Publishing, based at the Sussex Innovation Centre in Falmer, are confident the title will be a hit in the notoriously strait-laced country.

The German edition of the magazine will be published by B&D Media, publishers of lifestyle title Blond, Snowboarder, Surfers and Freedom BMX.

The magazine will be edited by Gotz Schmiedehausen.

Kyn Publishing chief executive Tim Southwell said: "I'm absolutely over the moon to be partnering with B&D on GolfPunk Germany.

"The golf market in Germany is booming and this is a further demonstration that the GolfPunk brand has a genuine global appeal.

"With Gotz as editor and B&D behind him, we are confident GP Germany will be a major success."

The launch of GolfPunk Germany comes hot on the heels of GolfPunk Italy and GolfPunk Indonesia, both of which are launched this month.
