It was heartwarming to see coverage of Brighton midwife Muriel Wilson's work in Ethiopia in The Argus (March 14).
We at Maternity Worldwide are very proud of her pioneering work at our project in Gimbie. She is doing a fantastic job, and has lots of friends and family in Brighton and Hove who wish her very well.
There is a very practical way in which The Argus' readers can support Muriel's work.
By sponsoring a safe birth at the Gimbie project, in honour of their mum this Mother's Day, they will ensure the safety of a mum during childbirth.
In return, we'll send a personalised certificate of sponsorship directly to their mum. What could be a more meaningful Mother's Day gift?
Top Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox has added her name to the campaign and we hope you will, too.
