Former footballer Ansell Henry has been kept in BBC reality show The Apprentice.

Mr Henry, 34, a sales manager from Brighton, has been a leading figure in recent episodes but kept a low profile in last night's installment.

The ex-Millwall player was a member of a team headed by Ruth Badger, who sent him and management consultant Mani Sandher to a business meeting with Sir Alan Sugar's son Daniel to discuss an advertising campaign for an airline.

The candidates were asked to create a TV advert and billboard poster with Saatchi And Saatchi to make hiring his private jets easier.

Unfortunately, Mr Ansell and Mr Sandher came away from the meeting with the wrong idea of what had been discussed, contributing to the team's poor performance.

The episode ended with Mr Sandher being fired by tycoon Alan Sugar, leaving Mr Henry free to carry on with his quest for a £100,000 job at Amstrad.
