Yet again, Brian Beck pitches into the Falmer stadium argument with a whopping load of misinformation (Letters, March 17).
He claims cars using the A27 will use a park-and-ride facility at the racecourse by accessing it via Woodingdean.
They won't.
They'll continue to use the sites at Mill Road and Mithras House which have served Withdean so effectively.
Some people who currently use the A27 to get to matches (such as myself) will choose to travel to Falmer by train, because that will be so much more convenient.
The racecourse site will be handy for people travelling from Newhaven and Peacehaven. And even they won't use the road through Woodingdean, when access will be much easier via Wilson Avenue.
The only threat to Woodingdean is if Lewes District Council get their way and the Albion stadium is built at Sheepcote Valley.
