So, Brian Beck continues his almost one-man campaign against the Falmer stadium with continued misinformation (Letters, March 17).
Having already been challenged and corrected on numerous issues through the Argus Letters page, does he come back to those points?
No. He commences another ill-thought-out train of comments.
In the latest, he highlights concern over the use of the Racehill as a park-and-ride site for Falmer.
By quoting from traffic directions to Brighton racecourse, he believes he has found evidence to support his wild claims.
The directions highlighted are for people from the west and north of Brighton attending the racecourse.
There are no other park and ride points which serve that site.
However, the racecourse is just one of three proposed park-andride points for the new stadium, together with limited parking at the stadium site, the University of Sussex and Falmer School.
The other sites are Mill Road and Mithras House, which are already used for Withdean.
So, does Mr Beck really believe traffic heading from the west of Brighton will go past Mill Road, Mithras House and the stadium before heading to the racecourse site? Does he believe traffic heading from the north will go past Mill Road and the stadium?
The site at the racecourse is convenient for use by those from the Brighton area. This will not cause an endless stream of traffic through Woodingdean and Rottingdean.
Living in Lewes, Mr Beck may not be familiar with the geography of Brighton and Hove.
