Writers Andrew Marshall and Linda Waller wrote this play by exchanging letters to each other as the characters Robert and Louise.
The result is a superbly perfomed, hauntingly realistic tale of two young students in the Seventies and their exchange of notes, cards and love letters.
Its brought to life in such a vivid manner you find yourself riding and reliving the emotional rollercoaster of first love with them.
The beauty of this play is it gives most of us something to relate to and, with great acting from Stephen Logue and Clementine Wade, who do a marvellous job of captivating the audience from start to finish, you cant help but be absorbed by their lives and feel them evoke memories of your own first love affair.
Great, witty writing, performance and direction all add to an endearing play which reflects love from both sexes.
It charts the highs, lows, unexpected twists and turns, love, hate and never-ending cycle of emotions which often make first love so exciting, painful and memorable.
This is a play which will make you laugh, cry and cringe. You will either find yourself celebrating your memories or thanking the heavens youre no longer back in the Seventies healing your first broken heart.
Intimate theatre at its best.
