Many thanks for featuring my letter titled "Parking policy is killing the heart of our city".
Recently, you featured a letter from a couple who, intending to spend the day in Brighton, left early due to the extortionate parking fees. They were willing to spend money while here for the day but did not and had no problem doing so in Canterbury the week before - a classic example of the point I am trying to make.
Their letter highlighted the problem before my letter was featured.
I only wonder for the one person that does write in to complain, how many hundreds/thousands feel the same but do not voice their despair or, for that matter, visit our city again?
