Mark McGhee has urged fans to phone a friend as he plays his own game show - who wants to be in the Championship?
Albion manager McGhee is asking for as many supporters as possible to be at Loftus Road tomorrow for the clash against Queens Park Rangers.
Contestants on Chris Tarrant's TV programme 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' can phone a friend to win money. McGhee has appealed to fans to do the same to help the Seagulls win points in their battle to beat the drop.
"I want as many of our fans who are going to take a mate with them," he said. "Let's get as many up there as we can, because this could be the turning point and they can help us."
Albion, on an eight-game losing run away from home, could complete their only double of the campaign following the 1-0 victory over Rangers at Withdean on Boxing Day.
Matches between the teams are usually passionate affairs and McGhee does not expect tomorrow's encounter to be any different, even though mid-table Rangers under caretaker manager Gary Waddock have no chance of going up or down.
"I think this game requires a bit of an edge," McGhee said.
"We don't want it to be a flat game, we want it to be like a cup-tie.
"I don't mean that we want to fall out with them, we just want them to know we are seriously trying to go there to get the three points and if they try to stop us that's fine. I expect them to be like that.
"I don't think their League position will make any difference.
He (Waddock) will drive them on and they have a responsibility to Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday and Crewe to give it their best shot.
"They clearly did that at Sheffield Wednesday last week (1-1), so we don't expect anything less."
