Peter Poole's complaint (Letters, February 27) about the £2.50 Saver bus ticket asks how Brighton and Hove bus fares compare with other towns.
He should come to Worthing, where a return fare from Durrington to the town centre charged by the Stagecoach bus company costs £3.20 and a trip from Worthing to Brighton and back is £5.90. I don't think Brighton residents realise how lucky they are to have such a good bus service.
Their all-day ticket costs £2.50. Our day-rider ticket costs £6.
