On February 3, 2006, more than 40 students gathered to hear local MP Celia Barlow speak at the launch of the Labour Club at the University of Sussex.
Celia answered many questions from students on a broad category of topics, including ID cards and tuition fees.
It was a privilege to have Celia with us and her genuine interest and desire to spend time with students was most commendable.
It was an enjoyable evening which showed interest in politics is still alive among young people.
-Nick Carter, President of the University of Sussex Labour Club
