I would urge the people of Brighton and Hove to stand up for themselves against over-development.
Pankhurst Avenue and Queen's Park area residents recently stood together, protesting against just such a problem.
An unsympathetic development by the Downland Housing Association on the old reservoir site in the avenue would have impinged deeply upon our family-friendly environment - and we won.
