Failing to live up to the moniker The House of Lords, The Young Knives' hollering bassist looked more suited to the name Jack Osbourne, given his hair, glasses and ungainly school uniform attire.
Thankfully, though, both House and guitarist brother Henry did exactly what it said on the tin where the music was concerned.
Their brand of shouty, new-wave kiddie-punk contained pointless lyrics aplenty and, with the help of drummer Olly's Kings Of Leon-type power beats, the crowd of mentalist youngsters were able to jump around wildly to old favourites Weekends And Bleak Days and Coastguard.
New single and gig highlight, Here Comes The Rumour Mill, demonstrated that, even if The Young Knives don't cut it for you, they're well on their way to perfecting the art of the singalong, young-punk anthem.
Another tick in the box for local promoter She Likes Parties.
