Eastbourne Eagles are getting busy on track in the build-up to the new season.
Eagles open their campaign with a home and away challenge against Arena-Essex on March 17 and 18.
And promoter Jon Cook is delighted to see his stars booking pre-season rides to help them tune up for the real thing.
New signing Brent Werner goes in the Northern Riders Championship at Workington on Saturday, March 11.
David Norris, Nicki Pedersen and rookie Lewis Bridger are involved in the Sean Cracker at Sheffield the following day as Sean Wilson celebrates 20 years of professional racing.
And Dean Barker and Andrew Moore compete for a Great Britain Select at Elite League newcomers Reading on Monday, March 13.
Cook said: "It's the sensible thing to do.
"No amount of practice can replace actually racing.
"And we don't want to be left behind when the season starts."
Barker, Norris, Bridger and Rye House's Ed Kennett are practising on Sundays at Arlington when the weather permits.
They are also enjoying sessions at Kings Lynn.
