I wonder whether Southern Water will take heed, following the warning we could get a heavy fall of snow as the storm which hit New York heads here?
If it does snow, the company could make some provision to shift snow which falls outside the reservoir areas into them.
It would probably cost a little extra in overheads but it would help ease the desperate, drought-hit state of affairs and save an otherwise wasted resource.
