Celia Barlow MP's description of George Galloway's behaviour in the Big Brother house as "distasteful" (Letters, February 2) appeared the day before The Guardian newspaper revealed the leader of her party, Tony Blair, had told president George Bush he was "solidly" behind US plans to invade Iraq - before he sought advice about the invasion's legality and despite the absence of a second UN resolution.
Whatever one thinks of Galloway's attempt to spread socialist ideas via Big Brother - and, as a socialist, I have mixed ideas about his efforts myself - the Prime Minister's kowtowing to arch modern imperialist George Bush has resulted in thousands of deaths, including those of 100 British troops.
I wonder which action history will find more distasteful?
