Brighton and Hove certainly should not have its own "gay village". Brighton and Hove City Council, as Simon Williams well knows, has an equality policy which should be adhered to at all times.
All persons living in the city have the right to be treated on an equal basis and none should demand preferential treatment at the taxpayers'
expense.
