which used to be on Marlborough House. The former was in good condition, the latter was not. May I ask through The Argus whether both are to be re-instated?
Brighton and Hove has a mixture of different plaques. Some are rectangular, several of which were designed by the sculptor Eric Gill, who was born locally.
Most are round and blue, although Lord Olivier's is grey, the cricketer Jack Hobbs' is brown, the colour of Surrey cricket club, and the Irish politician Charles Stewart Parnell's is green.
Some of a different design were put in place to celebrate the centenary of the cinema, for example to Dame Flora Robson on her house in Marine Gardens.
