A former bouncer has come face to face with the pensioner he forcefully ejected from the Labour Party conference.
Joe Ifill, from Hove, triggered a political storm when he was accused of manhandling Walter Wolfgang last September.
The 83-year-old was removed from The Brighton Centre after he shouted "nonsense" at Foreign Secretary Jack Straw during a speech about Iraq. He was then arrested as he tried to get back in.
Mr Ifill, 40, a car clamper, who had been working as a steward at the conference, agreed to be interviewed by Mr Wolfgang for a new Channel 4 documentary, Rebel With A Cause.
Speaking about their meeting, Mr Wolfgang said they had "agreed to disagree" about what happened.
Mr Ifill, a former Brighton nightclub door supervisor and cousin of Sheffield United footballer Paul Ifill, claims he was simply following instructions to remove people after three warnings.
He denies manhandling the protester.
But Mr Wolfgang, a Jewish refugee from Hitler's Germany, said: "I was never warned. I believe they were looking for trouble."
He received an apology from the Assistant Chief Constable of Sussex Police, Geoff Williams, who admitted the Labour activist should not have been held under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act, which deals only with stop-and-search powers.
Rebel With A Cause will be shown on Channel 4 on February 17.
