The third Suicide Saloon manages to trump even the visit of Huey from The Fun Loving Criminals by bringing us a DJ set from the legendary New Order.
A shining light in the grey world of Eighties British indie music, they somehow married that essential English ingredient of misery to dance music and made it work, wonderfully.
In the process they got generations of students out of their bedsits and into the clubs.
Their influence has been immeasurable even if the band's brilliance has faded a little on recent albums.
Peter Hook's visits to Holdup have always been hugely enjoyable and we should be treated to the sight of Bernard Sumner's unique dancing.
On the other floors, the live lounge will be transformed into a well-earned chill-out room with mattresses and beanbags covering the floor, along with Playstations, jenga, Scalextrix and on-stage events to enjoy "until it's time to go for your Sunday roast".
Anyone feeling a little torn and frayed should head for The Social Club, an oasis of calm with "Thailand's finest DJ" spinning a sunrise set and Thai massages available on the beds.
4am-11am, £tbc. Call 01273 699069.
