I have been interested in the letters The Argus has received regarding the proposed changes to BBC Southern Counties Radio (SCR). I particularly appreciated Brian Beck's and John Henty's (January 10).
Henty was a bearded broadcaster (like John Radford, only smaller) and he too was taken off air long before we were ready to lose him.
I have complained to Neil Pringle, the station's managing editor, the station's local advisory council and direct to the BBC.
I urge concerned listeners to do the same. Any of them who have internet access should look at the SCR's web site, www.bbc.co.uk/southerncounties. If they click on "Where I live", they will find a link to the message boards, where they can follow what has been said and decide whether or not to contribute.
